Avoid African related misconceptions and stereotypes portrayed by some media and some enemies of African progress and development. In every nation, there are good and bad people but Africa is often portrayed as a place of death, disease and despair. The focus on negativity results in a perception of the African continent, which in turns has negative implications for Africa and its people.
