Dr. Naomi Ruth Barber King calls on ECOWAS to embrace peaceful means in resolving permanently the causes of insurrections, coups, poverty, and lack of development of former French colonies in Africa. They must proffer both short- and long-term solutions to perhaps this century’s long devastating, cruel, and unusual treaty bound problems, and consequential unbearable outcomes. All the colonies are waking up to the realities of the perpetual impact of the French treaties imposed to secure their pseudo sovereignty.
