A D King Foundation Joins
Georgia Gives Day
December 6, 2012
A D King Foundation will participate in Georgia Gives Day, a statewide initiative that focuses the attention of the public on the work and worth of nonprofits. Georgia Gives Day, December 6, 2012, inspires individuals to donate to participating nonprofits through a website with the goal of raising as much money as possible in a 24 hour period.
GAgives.org makes donating easy by organizing nonprofits on one website, providing key facts about these charities and facilitates online donations.
The goal of Georgia Gives is to highlight the critical work of the nonprofit sector by providing an easy way to showcase their missions and impact upon the quality of life in our community and state.
This web-based giving platform will enable donors to give to a charity or cause of their choice. It will help nonprofit organizations increase giving, reach new donors and expand marketing reach through an engaging public mass media campaign.
