Event Description

A D King Foundation's Team Page for AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run 2012

Metropolitan Atlanta has the eighth highest incidence of HIV/AIDS in the
country. AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run, taking place on Sunday, October 21st,
2012 in Piedmont Park, is the largest AIDS fundraising event in the Southeast to
help care for people living with HIV/AIDS in Metro Atlanta.

AID Atlanta
and the eight participating agencies who benefit from AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K
Run serve thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS with treatment and
medications, meals, housing, mental health services, child care, substance abuse
counseling, pastoral care, and clinical research, as well as HIV prevention
programs to over 85,000 neighbors and friends at-risk for HIV/AIDS in
Atlanta.

These exceptional organizations need your help now. I’ve
committed to help support AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run by registering to
Walk/Run on October 21st. Won’t you help me reach and even surpass my
fundraising goal for this worthwhile cause?

If you are giving for the
first time or are a returning donor, you are an important part of AIDS Walk
Atlanta & 5K Run. Every dollar counts. Your generosity supports your belief
that EVERY LIFE DESERVES HOPE. Please give today.

Dr. Naomi Ruth King condemns in its strongest possible terms the cowardly act of discriminately, killing three innocent people randomly just because of their race in Jacksonville, Florida.
