Africa must be free from the French colonial exploitation

Dr. Naomi Ruth Barber King calls on ECOWAS to embrace peaceful means in resolving permanently the causes of insurrections, coups, poverty, and lack of development of former French colonies in Africa. They must proffer both short- and long-term solutions to perhaps this century’s long devastating, cruel, and unusual treaty bound problems, and consequential unbearable outcomes. All the colonies are waking up to the realities of the perpetual impact of the French treaties imposed to secure their pseudo sovereignty.

The time has come to shift the narrative and to do what is right for the people. According to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “For when people get caught up with that which is right and they are willing to sacrifice for it, there is no stopping point short of victory” ECOWAS should apply the principles and the steps of nonviolence to achieve a peaceful resolution.
There are 6 African countries under military coups, mostly former French colonies within the past 3 years. The countries are: Burkina Faso, 2022, Chad, 2021, Guinea, 2021, Mali, 2020, Niger, 2023 and Sudan, 2021. There is a revolution to stop the stealing of African natural resources and the consistent exploitation of the African people.
The African states must control their own resources and trade at the fair market price. The solution is not building military bases but forming mutual alliances without compromising values, worth and the integrity of the sovereign African nations. African nations must have a plan, creative and great messaging, know where they are going - the destination - when and how the heck to get there! That is the challenge! Do you agree with Dr. Naomi King or not?

Dr. Naomi Ruth King condemns in its strongest possible terms the cowardly act of discriminately, killing three innocent people randomly just because of their race in Jacksonville, Florida.
