Event Description
As you may know, Mrs. Naomi Ruth Barber King is the widow of Rev. Alfred Daniel (A. D.) King, sister-in-law to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Dr. Christine King Farris. The Foundation would be honored to have you join us, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, Conference Center, 1630 Metropolitan Pkwy, Atlanta Georgia 30310 for an evening of cultural enrichment as we celebrate the legacy of the Civil Rights movement, We will showcase our youth and pass on the torch to the younger generation of leaders. The struggle continues; every generation must fight to sustain it until we can realize the Beloved Community where poverty, war/violence, and racism no longer prevail in our communities and our nation.
